Get Your Flu Vaccination

The Advisory Committee of Immunization Practices (ACIP) just released updated guidelines for the influenza season for 2020-2021.

The 2020–21 flu season will coincide with a possible COVID-19 resurgence. Flu vaccines are recommended for everyone over the age of 6 months. Vaccinating for the flu will help reduce having symptoms that may be confused with those of COVID-19, preventing quarantine and isolation. Receiving the flu vaccine will also help to prevent and reduce the severity of the flu, which will in turn, reduce hospitalizations and intensive care unit admissions.

The Pediatric Center continues to adjust quickly to our new environment, including a new flu clinic protocol this year.
